Sept. 2013 - Introducing Whispers. Created by Women, for Women, to help Women. Women were certainly shouting about Whispers at all of the Wholesale Gift Summer Markets throughout the country making it one of the hottest fashion trends of the season. According to one Dallas customer, "Whispers are the best interpretation of a trend." Under Stella's Umbrella, LLC is thrilled to introduce Whispers, our new brand of exquisite ribbon necklaces and scarves that are proudly made in Greensboro, Alabama by women, especially for women and to help women in Alabama's Black Belt Region combat the rural poverty of the area. The manufacturing of Whispers is a collaborative effort between the non-profit organization HERO (Hale County Empowerment & Revitalization Organization Inc.) and USU (Under Stella's Umbrella, LLC). HERO works as a catalyst for community development by providing job-training resources to help end rural poverty.

| 05-16-2012 - Stella donates pullman luggage sets to State of Georgia foster children. As a graduation gift to many children in the State of Georgia foster system, Stella donated luggage sets to help these new graduates move on to their next phase in life. "Often times children are returned home or to a new placement with their personal items in bags, with no sense of belonging. While to others, a piece of luggage may seem like a small thing, in reality it helps our children in transition... giving a sense of knowing that they have something that belongs to them! Your donation has assured that 84 high school graduates, off to college, will begin their new journey with a nice set of luggage, that they can call their own!" Katherine S.
